The Pear Tree

By Victoria

Once upon a time there lived an old, old rich man. He had two very lovely daughters and a very plain daughter. On his deathbed, he pleaded for them to express their wishes so that he may fulfill them if he could. The eldest daughter quickly asked her wish, to marry her friend and have her father's approval blessing. Her father granted it. And she lived happily. He also gave the next daughter her wish, to own the house for she intended to become an old maid. And she lived peacefully. But when the plain daughter expressedher desire, the old pear tree, he angrily refused to grant one so simple. "Why would you want a pear tree when I could purchase you riches!!" he scoffed. The girl calmly replied,"I, as a child, have often sat by it, dreaming and pondering. It makes me peaceful and calm." The father mocked her, "Fine! Have your pear tree! Let your sisters grow faithfully while you are devoured by povety!" Then he dismissed her from the room.
So the girl packed her few belongings and moved to the pear tree's dome. And though she lived in poverty, she was at peace. What more could she ask for? The birds sang, the brook chattered, the tree creaked, the sun shined, and the flowers danced. The tree gave her food and the brook her water. The sunshine warmed her and the animals visited her.
Years passed. As always she leaned back on the pear tree, sighed her content, and presently slubered. The beat of hooves woke her, and a man galloped through the clearing."Oh!" gasped the girl for she had completely forgotten her past life. The man looked scared and his horse, tired. Graciously offered her little world to meet their needs. The man gladly agreed and stayed for awhile.
One day while they were talking Peter, the man, suddenly jumped up and gazed around," I would have never thought so much beauty is wasted! For people do not glance at such wonders that you are surviving from. I see now that I rather be here than anywhere else!" Grasping her rough hand, Peter pleaded, "Will you marry me? We shall always live here and raise our children to admire the woods and appreciate it's marvels!" Even though he was rather rash. the girl nodded,"Yes, and let the pear tree, the brook, sunshine, and, animals provide for us!"she added.
They were married, right there and then.

Zoo Tycoon 2

I really do not know if your family plays or even has a computer. But if you do and play it daily and occasionally, I know of a very interesting game! Zoo Tycoon 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The game is unfortunately not free but worth it's fee!!! I believe the first time I played it was at Miquette's house. She only had the orginal series that did not have as much animals as mine does. The game helps you reconize the different types of species and their current habitates. You basically build a cage and a zoo. What really makes it entertaining is you can clean their cages, read the guests thoughts, name them, chose limited or unlimited money and a ton more!!!! It is an amazing game that I highly suggest!

Homeschool P.E

I know I should have written about this a long time ago but hey!! I have written about other things! So...... here we go! Sadly I have not tooken any pictures of the kids that attend PE with us but I plan to! We make a enormous group of kids, the oldest being 14 or so. First, we race around the gym in laps usually 6 or 7 laps. Then we accomplish the normal exercises of sit-ups(20), push-ups(15), jumpingjacks(25-30), and finally the painful arm-circles and leg-raises. After completeing these tasks, our games follow shortly. Hurridly, we will split into teams and play the desired game. Following shortly after this is the thing everyone but me, hates, RELEE RACES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So does it sound fun or what?! Here are some of the kid's names,
GIRLS:
Tiffany, me, Casey, Reese, Jenny, Aspen, Kate,
BOYS:
Wytte, Hayden, Tristan, Jay-Jay, Andrew, Eric, Mr. Russ, and alot more

Some day I will take a picture of are whole class. Some day....................

A Few Pictures Of Our Dogs

Peanut and Victoria

The Nut, Peanut, Little Nut, and so on

The Thing

The Lug, Cossy, Fattie, Fatmo, Fat Coz, and so on........

Tristan and Cozmo
These are "man's best friend!" Dogs are one of my favorite species ever, they are reliable, loyal, and such a pest!!! Especially Cozmo our affecinate golden retriever who cannot receive enough attention anywhere! Peanut, a nervous chihuahua on the other hand does not approve of any partys including small children that pet and pick her up. Still she is pretty "kid-safe." While Cozmo consumes a large ammount of any type of food, Peanut rests comfortably in the sun. Both of them adore raw-hides or to other people, bones. This is a definate problem since Peanut cannot carry the huge bones we purchase for Cozmo. Poor, poor Peanut hungerily watches as Cozmo devours the bone. Lucky for her, Cozmo's dopey eyes do not spot tiny peices of the raw-hide. This explains why bones are so precious to Peanut..... Now you know what my dogs are like and can discuss them among your-selves.
DOGS ROCK!!!!!!!!!!

P.J party!!!!!

Hayden, Jacob, Tristan, Graham, Miah
Victoria,Megan, Kara,Miquette, Taylor

Jacob, Graham, Elijjah, Jackson, Isiah

Megan, Kara, Miquette, Taylor, Mrs.Orren

Yes I know these pictures are comical!! But they remind me a ton of Grace Grammar our old co-op. I remember that we (the kids) were VERY jealous that the public school kids assembled a ''spirit week"as I believe they called it. We had a "spirit week" of our own!!! It was amazing!!!!! The week included in-side-out day, crazy hair day, pajama day, and mis-matching day!!!!!!!!!!!
Twas fun and that was all there was to it!!!!
One more thing...............................................................
I LOVE YOU GRACE GRAMMAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Movie Stars

(Victoria Robinson, Miquette Orren, and Miranda Seal)
I am telling ya those are some flashy models!! This picture includes me, Miquette, and Miranda on my 10th or 11th birthday, I forgot which one. We were going to spend the night together but, unfortunately for us Miranda's parents made a strict rule of " No SLEEP-OVERS!!!" (poor Miranda) So Miquette and I saw her to the door at 11:00 that night. Too bad!!!

Down With Evolution!!

I have recently been teaching my brothers about Dinosaurs and what they supposedly looked like. First of course before you read this you are going to want to know a bit about fossils and evolution.

First of all God created the world 10 thousand years ago, not billions to trillions like evolution states.

Secondly, evolution says all animals were accidently formed when a accident accured in the animals after millions of years making them reproduce a slightly different animals. The unique animals were alot better than their mother/father so that their mother/father's species died out. Which then it keeps on repeating it's self. This theroy is not only wrong but stupid!! How in the world could a 25% animal survive without totally being formed!? It would have definately died in a few days without food or water, not to mention accidently reproducing!!! The Bible plainly tells us God made the world, which is proof enough that everything was exactly how he wanted it to be. There are/was no 25%, 50%, or 75% animals!!!

Dinosaurs are a great puzzle to evolutionists. So please that christian scientists can prove that evolution is a definate fairy-tale!!

Topsi and Turvey

I thought this was a great photo of us. Hayden and I are holding our family's two little kittens, Topsi and Turvey. This picture was tooken at our old house on Branden in the Tri-cities. Sadly, Topsi and Turvey ran away. They were sweet tiny things. *sigh* It is a great picture of them though..........

No Snow Is A Good Snow!

Yes I know the title sounds a bit flashy but it is all I could think of!! (Especially if you live in a once snow-covered Spokane) However snow will soon be a rare thing if the weather keeps this unusual warmth up! So far the tempature has been increasing, and I cannot say I am sorry. Although snow glows beautifully it is a real pain!!!!! Icey and rock-hard snow IS NOT a joy to shovel or spectate to those who live in a hot biome, like Florida. So, I keep begging, pleading, and telling my parents a trip to Florida would not hurt us financally and physically. They mummbled a maybe which ammounts to a complete no!!! SNAP!! Public schools have been closed because of road conditions and no sidewalks. Luckily, we are driving to the Tri-cities on Jan.16th. (hint, hint)
So whoever wrote 'Let it snow, let it snow let it snow' obviously has never seen a real snow!
**Thank you for hearing Victoria's complaints
, she has several others, not to mention her firey temper. Thanks**

A BIG CHOICE!!!!!!

Alright, I want your opinon on two things........ here they are,
1. CYT or theater to those who want to know what I mean.
One of my friends asked me if I was doing Cinderella this spring.
2. Irsh Dance- I really like it but CYT does not offer it this year.
The problem:
I Can not decide which one I want to do!!!!!!!!!!!!
CYT:
Includes my greatest dream- to become an actress, several unique classes, and plays.
Bad thing is- no matter how well you adition if you are under 15 you can not get a main part.
Irsh Dance:
A amazing, fun work-out!!! And I DO NOT feel small and inexperienced when I do it.
Bad thing- scarcely equals my slipping dream to become an actress.
Question: Which one should I do?!!
Thank you for hearing me, please write your answer in the comments box below. Thanks!!!
